Systems and methods for interpreting multiple Z-horizon horizons from seismic data are provided. The seismic data is displayed via a graphical user interface (GUI) of an application executable on a user's computing device. The user input is received via the GUI to select the surfaces of a multiple Z-horizon in a current view of the displayed data. User input is tracked when it is received via the GUI on a series of entry points in the current view of the displayed seismic data. On the basis of tracking, each of a plurality of surfaces for the multiple Z-horizon and at least one edge point between the selected surfaces in the current view of the seismic data is determined. The current view of the seismic data is dynamically updated in the GUI to include a visual indication of the plurality of surfaces and the at least one edge point for the multiple Z-horizon.
