The present invention relates to a method of information content analysis on the World Wide Web, comprising steps of: defining a plurality of evaluation parameters of an information content related to and correlated to at least one defined subject ofinterest e.g. a person or group of people; searching for and select on the World Wide Web at least one information content e.g. negative or defamatory content about the person/people, relevant and correlated to the subject of interest; automatically evaluating the information content using at least a calculation algorithm, to obtain a plurality of values for the plurality of parameters of evaluation of the information content; comparing the values of the parameters with respective ranges of acceptability; storing the information content, or information related to the position of the information content on the World Wide Web in the event that a predetermined number of the parameter values are outside of the respective ranges of acceptability in a predetermined way; and providing the information content, or information related to the position of the information content on the World Wide Web, for an evaluation of the information content by a user, preferably by the subject of interest or by a user authorized by the subject of interest.
