Drill head 1 for earth boring, for a horizontal drilling device, where the drill head features a housing, a transmitter 6 for generating a radio signal, an antenna 7 and a receiver 8 for receiving a reflected radio signal. Where characterized the antenna unit 7 is adapted to transmit a radio signal into the earth as well as to receive a reflected radio signal, the antenna unit 7 arranged to receive signals relating to obstacles ahead and on the side of the drill head 1. Optionally, the receiver 8 is adapted such that the reflected radio signal can be transmitted unprocessed to a device above ground. Optionally, the drill head features a location acquisition device and the receiver 8 is adapted to transmit data of the location acquisition device together with the reflected radio signal to a device above ground.
