摘要
It can be minimized by creation condition, such light absorption in optical material laser-induced damage. Specifically, the electronic band gap of inhabitation defect level can be the conduction band-process being promoted in optical material and commonly referred to as bleach. This bleaching can ensure that minimum energy is deposited into material ideally only in promotion electronics to conduction band by using one kind of predetermined wavelength. In some cases, i.e. phonon (heat) excitation can also be used for obtaining higher depopulation rate. In one embodiment, bleaching light beam have wavelength be longer than laser beam can be with the laser beam to depopulate defect levels in band gap. Bleaching light beam can equidirectional propagation or laser cross-beam.
