METHOD FOR EXECUTING INSTRUCTIONS OF OBJECT-ORIENTED APPLICATIONS BY AN INTERPRETER

As part of a running application, developed in object-oriented language and compiled in intermediate code, the intermediate code is executed by an interpreter of an operating system installed on an electronic map. When the interpreter detects a call to a dedicated function of the operating system in the intermediate code vis-a-vis an application object to protect the application, operating system updates (311 ) metadata related to said object so as to associate a reference integrity check data to said object. When the interpreter detects a subsequent handling of the protected object in the intermediate application code, the operating system determines (305) a given value of integrity check object corresponding to said protected state, and before the shell does not perform said manipulation, the operating system checks (306) the integrity check value calculated data is consistent with the data value reference integrity verification.
