A double-sided adhesive sheet of the present invention has a laminate structure including an adhesive layer (11) containing an electrolyte, an adhesive layer (21), and a conduction substrate (30). A double-sided adhesive sheet joined body of the present invention includes, for example, an adhesive sheet (XI) having such a laminate structure, a conductive adherend (Y1) to which the adhesive layer (11) adheres, and an adherend (Y2) to which the adhesive layer (21) adheres. A method for joining/separating adherends of the present invention includes joining adherends (Y1 and Y2) to each other via the adhesive sheet (XI), then applying a voltage to the adhesive layer (11) so as to generate a potential difference in a thickness direction of the adhesive layer (11), and separating the adherends (Y1 and Y2) from each other. The double-sided adhesive sheet according to the present invention is appropriate for efficiently performing the separation between adherends including at least one adherend which is difficult to be elastically bent and deformed after the adherends are joined to each other.
