The shaft (1) has two support rods, where each of the two support rods is arranged with cutting teeth (3). The cutting teeth are axially offset from each other in a longitudinal direction of the milling shaft. The support rods are provided with a set of front-side forehead edges in a direction of rotation (D) of a rotation shaft. Each of the support rods exhibits a separating function for snow or ice-hunks. The set of front-side forehead edges is provided with a set of cutting surfaces.
