Provided is a cot fastener track for fastening a cot comprising at least a middle fixture and a rearward fixture. The cot fastener track comprises a back end and a front end, the front end having a first width and the back end having a second width that is smaller than the first width. The back end and front end define a loading direction towards the front end from the back end. The cot fastener track also comprises a roof plate, a rearward central channel defined in the roof plate, provided adjacent and above the back end, comprising a defined rearward channel opening that is provided adjacent the back end and a forward central channel provided closer to the front end and above the rearward central channel on the roof plate, comprising a defined forward channel opening. The cot fastening track is configured such that when the cot is loaded in the loading direction, the middle fixture passes over the back end and the rearward central channel and enters into the forward central channel through the defined forward channel opening, and the rearward fixture passes over the back end and enters into the rearward central channel through the defined rearward channel opening.
