A bearing cup (10) for a bicycle bottom bracket assembly comprises an annular body (12) having a radially outer substantially cylindrical surface portion (14b) configured to be coupled with the frame of the bicycle and a radially inner substantially cylindrical surface portion (14a) defining a housing seat (16) for a bearing. A plurality of ribs (18) extend radially inwards from said radially inner substantially cylindrical surface portion (14a). The ribs (18) are configured to be coupled with interference with said bearing.;The invention also relates to a bicycle bottom bracket assembly, comprising the aforementioned bearing cup (10) and a bearing configured to be housed inside the bearing cup (10).
