The invention refers to a hand-held and hand-guided power tool (1) comprising a housing (2) with a driving motor (11) located therein for actuating a driving shaft (27) upon operation of the driving motor (11) and further comprising a working element (9) connected to the driving shaft (27) in a torque proof manner and performing a working movement about its rotational axis (13) and/or in a working plane extending perpendicular to its rotational axis (13) as a result of operation of the driving motor (11) and consequently actuation of the driving shaft (27). In order to provide for an easy, quick and safe releasable attachment of the backing pad member (9) to the rest of the power tool (1) it is suggested that the working element (9) is connected to the driving shaft (27) in a torque proof manner by means of a form fit connection (16, 17) in a plane extending perpendicular to the rotational axis (13) of the backing pad member (9), wherein the form fit connection (16, 17) is releasable in an axial direction, and that the working element (9) is held within the form fit connection (16, 17) in respect to the driving shaft (27) in the axial direction by means of magnetic force.
