The invention relates to a control and monitoring system (1) for a sports or leisure facility, which provides for an arrangement of entry authorization bands (4) assigned to a user. Each admission authorization band (4) has a processor unit as well as an interface unit (10) and a message unit which are controlled by the processor unit. A limited access authorization can be read into the admission authorization band (4) via the interface unit (10). The signaling unit can be used to indicate whether the read access authorization is valid or invalid.
