The disclosure discloses a remote management method and a circuitry (411) for a mobile broadband router in one embodiment of the invention. The remote management method and the circuitry (411) can identify a type of an interface provided for remote management performed on the IP packets through a TCP/UDP port number with respect to the IP packets. Thus, even when the mobile broadband router supports a bridge mode, for a network operator or a user who utilizes a special APN networking channel, the remote management scheme can still be applied to the interface of the mobile broadband router via the Internet.
