INDUSTRIAL ELECTRIC FURNACE AND MONITORING METHOD AND MONITORING DEVICE FOR ELECTRICAL INSULATION OF AN INDUSTRIAL ELECTRIC FURNACE

A monitoring method and a monitoring device for electrical insulation (1-36) of an industrial electric furnace (100) are presented. During the production operation of the industrial electric furnace (100), a monitoring device (200; 200A) automatically determines resistance measurement values (R1-R36, Rx) of electrical insulation (1-36) between predetermined measuring points (Mx) of the industrial electric furnace (100) and checks the electrical insulation (1-36) with regard to its insulation properties on the basis of the measured resistance values (R1-R36, Rx). An industrial electric furnace (100) equipped with the monitoring device (200; 200A) is also presented.
