The invention provides power electronics of a charging station with the following features: a first DC-DC converter (11), a first DC-DC converter (12) connected to the first DC-DC converter (11) for connecting a battery (21, 22) to the charging station (10) and a second DC chopper (13) connected to the first DC-DC converter (11) for connecting an electric car to the charging station (10). The invention further provides a corresponding charging station.
