OVERLAPPING MECHANISM FOR THE NEUTRAL IN AUTOMATIC TRANSFER SWITCH EQUIPMENT (ATSE)

Disclosed is a neutral overlapping mechanism for an automatic transfer switch equipment (1), the ATSE (1) being switchable between a first power source and a second power source and including a frame (10), a main shaft (17) rotatably disposed on the frame, a first fixed contact (11) and a second fixed contact (12), and a mobile contact (13) fixedly connected to the main shaft (17) and capable of rotating together with the main shaft, the mobile contact (13) being rotatable between the first fixed contact (11) and the second fixed contact (12), the neutral overlapping mechanism (2) comprises: neutral fixed contacts; neutral mobile contacts rotatably disposed on the frame; a cam member (24) fixedly mounted to the main shaft (17) to rotate with the main shaft and having a first position and a second position, the cam member (24) being in the first position when the mobile contact (13) is in contact with the first fixed contact (11), the cam member (24) being in the second position when the moving contact (13) is in contact with the second fixed contact (12); and during rotation from the first position to the second position, the cam member allows the neutral lines of the first and second power sources to remain electrically connected for realizing the neutral overlapping switching of the ATSE.
