To provide a method for manufacturing a zeolite separation membrane having a performance on the equivalent level to a conventional separation membrane by an economical method without using an organic structure regulation agent.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for manufacturing, by an economical method without a burning process, a continuous CHA type zeolite separation membrane showing a separation performance of CO/Nand CO/CHon the equivalent level to a conventional separation membrane by performing hydrothermal synthesis by using an alkali hydroxide metal without using an organic structure regulation agent.
