COLLAGEN-CHONDROITIN SULFATE GEL MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop gel materials in which the form of collagen is fibrillated collagen and, in particular, which have physical properties that make it difficult to contract when used as a cell culture substrate.;SOLUTION: Provided is a collagen-chondroitin sulfate gel material, the gel material comprising collagen and chondroitin sulfate as constituents, the mass ratio thereof being in the range of collagen:chondroitin sulfate=5:1 to 1:3, the form of the component being a complex of cross-linked fibrillated collagen and chondroitin sulfate. But, the cross-linking treatment is at least one cross-linking treatment of γ-ray irradiation, electron beam irradiation, UV irradiation, and plasma irradiation, in the presence of an aqueous solvent, and the complex exhibits a homogeneous appearance.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
