To provide a climbing construction method of a tower crane capable of reducing labor and cost required for construction.SOLUTION: The climbing construction method of a tower crane 1 includes a base installation step for installing a crane lower base 30 at an initial position, a supporting step for supporting a plurality of masts 20 by the crane lower base 30, a wall tie installation step for installing a wall tie 50 connecting the plurality of masts 20 and a building 2 mutually at a position above the initial position, a climbing step for climbing a lifting frame 40 or the plurality of masts 20, and a pin supporting step for supporting a first junction part between the crane lower base 30 and the wall tie 50 by the pin junction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
