To provide a cluster-type multistage rolling mill capable of extending a service life of work rolls as compared with the prior art.SOLUTION: A cluster-type multistage rolling mill for rolling a sheet-like material to be rolled comprises: a plurality of rolls arranged on each of both sides in a thickness direction of the material to be rolled; and a roll position adjustment apparatus for adjusting a relative positional relationship between the plurality of rolls. The plurality of rolls include: a work roll arranged at such a position as to be able to roll the material to be rolled; a pair of holding rolls which are arranged such that, in a feeding direction by the work roll of the material to be rolled, one is at an upstream side of an axial center of the work roll, and the other one is at a downstream side thereof, and which are each brought into contact with the work roll; and a plurality of support rolls which are arranged outside the pair of holding rolls relative to the work roll, and which support the pair of holding rolls. The roll position adjustment apparatus adjusts the relative positional relationship between the plurality of rolls so that a distance between the axial centers of the pair of holding rolls is shortened.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
