METHOD OF CONSTRUCTING COKE OVEN OF CHAMBER OVEN TYPE, AND REFRACTORY STRUCTURE OF COKE OVEN OF CHAMBER OVEN TYPE

To sufficiently reduce the number of skilled oven-construction workers upon constructing a brick structure of a coke oven, and to extend an oven life by preventing damage to the refractory upon pushing out coke by reducing displacement of a brick wall of a combustion chamber and by allowing the oven wall structure to have few joint parts, without increasing the cost of raw coal.SOLUTION: There are provided an oven construction method of constructing a coke oven of a chamber-oven type, which method is characterized by constructing an oven using a large-sized precast refractory block 6 for 90% (in a mass ratio) or more of refractory constituting a combustion chamber 3, a heat storage chamber 4 and a sole flue 5, and a refractory structure of a coke oven of a chamber oven type.
