To provide agents that inhibit gastric acidic protease activity against lactoferrin.SOLUTION: The invention provides an agent that inhibits gastric acidic protease activity against lactoferrin, the agent comprising casein or casein hydrolysate as an effective ingredient. The invention also provides a method for producing the lactoferrin composition comprising a step of mixing a solution containing lactoferrin under acidic conditions and a solution containing casein or casein hydrolysate under neutral conditions.
