PATENT EVALUATION METHOD UTILIZING STRUCTURAL EQUATION MODEL AND SYSTEM FOR PERFORMING THE METHOD

To provide a method and a system for evaluating a patent utilizing a structural equation model.SOLUTION: The patent evaluation method includes the steps of: receiving an evaluation for importance of a plurality of evaluation elements necessary to construct an evaluation model for each of a plurality of evaluation indexes that are already set from a plurality of experts in order to evaluate a registered patent; verifying the evaluation of the plurality of experts for the importance of the individual evaluation; setting the verified element to a final evaluation element; setting influence degree index determining an influence degree index of each of the set evaluation element necessary to construct the evaluation model for each of the evaluation index using a structural equation model analysis; generating the evaluation model for each of the evaluation index using the set influence index and the set influence degree index and the structural equation; acquiring patent information; and generating an evaluation result using the evaluation model generated for the patent to be evaluated and the acquired patent information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
