To provide a filament lamp including a filament in an arc tube and having a tip tube remaining part on the external surface of the arc tube, which has a structure where a heat roller into which a lamp is inserted is reduced in size by suppressing an amount of protrusion from the external surface of an arc tube of the chip tube remaining part and the light distribution (thermal distribution) of light from an arc tube is suppressed from being deteriorated locally both in an axial direction and a circumferential direction.SOLUTION: A tip tube remaining part has a flat curved surface shape along the external surface of an arc tube in a circumferential direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
