To form a notch or the like on inside of a contour without receiving affection of a pattern of a sheet material when cutting a cutting part.SOLUTION: There is provided a cutting device 1 comprising: a cutting table 3 for mounting thereon, a sheet material S on which a cutting part P is formed; a cutting head 6 which can move horizontally; imaging means 17 of the cutting part P; and a control part 12 for generating cutting data from a contour 21 of the cutting part P, for controlling the cutting head 6 based on the cutting data. The sheet material S comprises an instruction mark 20 indicating a prescribed position of the contour 21 on an outside periphery of the contour 21, the imaging means 17 detects the instruction mark 20, the control part 12 controls the cutting head 6 based on a control pattern in which a prescribed position of the contour 21 indicated by the instruction mark 20 is allocated to the instruction mark 20 in advance, and the cutting data along the contour 21 for cutting the sheet material S. An inside of the contour 21 is protected as a non-cutting part, and cutting of inside of the contour 21 is allowed by the instruction position of the instruction mark 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
