PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber-reinforced AlN composite having insulation properties and using ceramic fiber capable of being easily obtained industrially; and to provide a radiation substrate, and a method for producing the fiber-reinforced AlN composite.;SOLUTION: A fiber-reinforced AlN composite of this invention comprises a ceramic fiber which consists of alumina and silica, and a matrix which consists of AlN. A radiation substrate of this invention includes a base material which consists of the fiber-reinforced AlN composite, and a cushion layer provided on a surface of the base material. Moreover, a method for producing the fiber-reinforced AlN composite of this invention includes: a mixing step of mixing the ceramic fiber 10 which consists of the alumina and the silica with an AlN powder 20; and a pulse energization-sintering step of uniaxially pressing a mixture 90 of the ceramic fiber 10 and AlN powder 20 while applying heat and DC pulse voltage.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
