PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flocculant addition amount control device capable of accurately controlling the flocculant injection rate in the step of concentrating sludge with a concentrator.;SOLUTION: A flocculant addition amount control device has: an imaging unit that images the liquid surface of a separation liquid in which a processing object to which a flocculant is added by a flocculant addition unit is separated by a solid-liquid separator; an area detection unit for detecting an area of suspended substance that exists in the separation liquid from the imaging data obtained from the imaging unit; an outline detection unit for detecting the outline of the suspended substance existing in the separation liquid from the imaging data obtained from the imaging unit; a determination unit that compares a relation between the area of the suspended substance and the outline of the suspended substance to a reference range; and a control unit for controlling the amount of the flocculant added by the flocculant addition unit based on the comparison result of the determination unit.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
