To provide detection methods comprising primer sets and kits enabling quick and accurate detection of Candida auris.SOLUTION: Disclosed herein is a method for detecting Candida auris by conducting nucleic acid amplification to a nucleic acid sample obtained from a sample using a LAMP method and detecting amplification products, where in the primer set of the LAMP method, the FIP is a polynucleotide comprising 5-20 bases of the 3' terminus and 5-20 bases of the 5' terminus of a specific base sequence, BIP is a polynucleotide comprising 5-20 bases of the 3' terminus and 5-20 bases of the 5' terminus of a specific base sequence, F3 is a polynucleotide of a specific sequence, and B3 is a polynucleotide of a specific sequence.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
