PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attitude position estimating system which does not require much time and efforts to install and can easily be constructed.;SOLUTION: Provided is an attitude position estimating system which has a movable operation unit having an imaging unit and graspable by a user and a stereoscopic image supply unit having a display unit for displaying a stereoscopic image, a contact unit that can be brought into contact with a portion of face of a user viewing the stereoscopic image, and a detection object part that can be imaged by the imaging unit. A detection object part image in the captured images by the imaging unit is detected, and the position or attitude of a movable imaging part is estimated on the basis of the detection object part image.
