PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap with a flange part which does not allow rainwater to drip from a tip of the flange part of the CAP.;SOLUTION: A hat with a flange part includes a flange part and a cap body, the flange part including a tip and a flange base. After an arc-shaped tip is inserted into a flange forming bag, an arc-shaped tip enclosing joint is formed by sewing along a side edge of the arc-shaped tip of the cap body. Subsequently, a flange core is inserted into the flange forming bag, and a flange core enclosing joint is formed along a side edge of the flange core of the cap body, with the tip edge of the flange core being in contact with the arc-shaped tip enclosing joint. The flange part is thus manufactured. The cap-stitched end of the flange part is sutured to the cap body.
