To provide a more accurate evaluation method for rotary machine remaining life.SOLUTION: The evaluation method for rotary machine remaining life is for evaluating the remaining life of a rotary machine having a rotary body in which crack occurs in the surface, and includes a step S1 of obtaining the starting point of the crack, the extending direction of the crack and the length of the crack and, a step S2 of calculating a stress intensity factor based on the length of the crack and the stress generated in the rotary body, a step S3 of calculating the allowable length of the crack based on the stress intensity factor, and a step S4 of calculating the remaining life of the rotary machine by dividing the difference between the length and the allowable length of the crack by the progress rate of a crack given in advance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
