MANUFACTURING METHOD OF PELLET, AND REFINING METHOD OF NICKEL OXIDE ORE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing metal at low cost with suppressing refining cost in refining using a pellet obtained by mixing an oxide ore such as a nickel oxide ore and a carbonaceous reductant.;SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a pellet has a mixing treatment process for mixing an oxide ore and a carbonaceous reductant to prepare a mixture, and a mixture molding process for molding the resulting mixture to pellet. The mixture is manufactured without adding water nor a binder in the mixing treatment process, and the prepared mixture is press molded to make the pellet in the mixture molding process. The refining method of the nickel oxide ore uses the pellet obtained by the above described manufacturing method of the pellet, inputs the pellet into a reduction furnace and reduction heats the same at a prescribed reduction temperature.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
