To provide a three-phase boosting rectification unit which can operate for an elongated life with simple control.SOLUTION: A three-phase boosting rectification unit 1A includes: a rectification circuit 10, a positive electrode side main diode Da, a negative electrode side main diode Db, a positive electrode side switching element 11a, and a negative electrode side switching element 11b, and comprises: a booster circuit 11 capable of outputting an intermediate voltage; a positive electrode side capacitor Ca; and a negative electrode side capacitor Cb. The three-phase boosting rectification unit 1A further comprises a booster circuit control unit 12 for alternately switching between a first mode in which a first switching control signal is transmitted to the positive electrode side switching element 11a and a second switching control signal is transmitted to the negative electrode side switching element 11b and a second mode in which a second switching control signal is transmitted to the positive electrode side switching element 11a and the first switching control signal is transmitted to the negative electrode side switching element 11b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
