PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric actuator that is suitable for high voltage drive and has improved migration resistance.;SOLUTION: A piezoelectric actuator of the present disclosure comprises: a piezoelectric element 1 that has surface electrodes respectively on a first surface and a second surface facing each other of a piezoelectric element body 10 including a single-layer or a multi-layer piezoelectric material; and a shim plate 2 that is joined to the first surface of the piezoelectric element body 10.
