To provide an anti-ear-loss agent which can suitably suppress ear-loss.SOLUTION: In an anti-ear-loss agent of a negative electrode of a lead-acid battery, in a resin including a first structural unit derived from bisphenol A and a second structural unit derived from bisphenol S, each of the first structural unit and the second structural unit has a group derived from aminobenzenesulfonic acid or a derivative thereof, and a resin in which the molar ratio of the content of the group derived from aminobenzenesulfonic acid or the derivative thereof to the content of the second structural unit is 1.8 to 6.5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
