To provide a sample handling work eligibility determination system and a sample handling work eligibility determination program that make it possible to accurately grasp the work related to the preservation of samples to a sample storage.SOLUTION: Sample information for identifying a sample is read by a sample information reading unit. Sample storage information for identifying a sample storage is read by a sample storage information reading unit. At least one of a work procedure for stocking the sample to the sample storage and the work procedure for delivering the sample from the sample storage is stored in a work procedure storage unit. It is detected whether the door of the sample storage is in an opened state or in a closed state. A work performance including the time when the sample information was read, the time when the sample storage information was read, and the time when the change between the opened state and the closed state was detected, is stored in a work performance storage unit.
