To reduce the power consumption following the adjustment processing during the sleep in an information processing device such as an image formation device.SOLUTION: An information processing device includes a device and a controller controlling the device. The controller includes: power control means which can control the power state of the information processing device into the first power state where the power supply to the device is at least performed, and the second power state which has the smaller power consumption than that in the first power state and where the power supply to the device is stopped; and monitoring means which monitors the occurrence of an event for returning the power state from the second power state to the first power state. The power control means returns the power state to the first power state when the occurrence of the event is detected by the monitoring means, and returns the power state to the second power state when adjustment processing executed according to the adjustment event is complete in a case where the occurred event is the adjustment event for causing the device to execute the adjustment processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
