PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clogging inhibition control device for a drain pump which can inhibit clogging automatically, and to provide an air conditioner and a clogging inhibition control method for the drain pump.;SOLUTION: A clogging inhibition control device 6 for a drain pump is applied to the drain pump 4 which suctions drain water stored in a drain pan 3 from a suction port 7 and discharges the drain water from a discharge port 8 connected to a pipe 5 extending upward. The clogging inhibition control device 6 includes: an acquisition part which acquires information related to an operation state of the drain pump 4; a determination part which determines whether or not clogging occurs in the suction port 7 of the drain pump 4 on the basis of the information acquired by the acquisition part; and a back flow control part which performs back flow control, in which the drain water stored in the pipe 5 is flowed back from the discharge port 8 to the suction port 7 of the drain pump 4, when it is determined by the determination part that the clogging occurs in the suction port 7 of the drain pump 4.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
