To provide a vehicular in-wheel motor drive unit which is suppressed in the generation of vehicle body vibration resulting from the eccentricity of a center of gravity of an electric motor, and suppressed in the lowering of a riding comfort of the vehicle.SOLUTION: A reduction gear side end part 16a of a motor rotating shaft 16 is supported by a reduction gear part 30 so as to be rotatable and cantilevered, and a connecting device 42 for connecting a motor part 18 to the reduction gear part 30 via an elastic member 44c is arranged between the motor part 18 and the reduction gear part 30. Therefore, even if a drive force of the electric motor 14 is changed or a vehicular in-wheel motor drive unit 10 vertically vibrates, since the motor part 18 is connected to the reduction gear part 30 by the connecting device 42 via the elastic member 44c and a change of the drive force of the electric motor 14 and vibration accompanied by the vertical movement of the vehicular in-wheel motor drive unit 10 are absorbed, the generation of vehicle body vibration resulting from the eccentricity of a center of gravity of the electric motor 14 and the lowering of a riding comfort of a vehicle are suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
