To provide a method and an apparatus for simulating an active noise controlled sound field in which noise reduction effects are verified by simulation, such as before installing a system at a site or the like, in the case where a control speaker is disposed at a position remote from a noise source in an ANC for a part of an open space.SOLUTION: From a sound pressure reduction condition in which an amplitude ratio of sound from a noise source N and a control speaker S at a simulation position of a control microphone P is 1 and a phase difference is π, a coefficient α representing the intensity of a sound source of the control speaker to the noise source and a phase difference φ of the control speaker with respect to the noise source are calculated, and then, an amplitude ratio Aj and a phase difference Δφj in the position coordinate of an evaluation point J of the noise and the control sound are calculated from the coefficient α and the phase difference φ, and then, a sound pressure E indicating the effect of the position coordinate of the evaluation point where the sound pressure is controlled is calculated, thereby obtaining the simulation result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
