To provide a composition for promoting increase of enteric bacteria Akkermansia muciniphila, and a food, pharmaceutical, and feed containing the composition.SOLUTION: A composition for promoting increase of Akkermansia muciniphila contains a sialylglycopeptide (SGP) with a carbohydrate chain binding to a peptide having a threonine and/or serine residue, wherein the glycopeptide has a molecular weight of 500 or more and 3,000 or less, the carbohydrate chain binds to a hydroxy group of a threonine or serine residue of the peptide, and a constituent sugar of the carbohydrate chain is one or more selected from the group consisting o sialic acid, N-acetylgalactosamine and galactose. There are also provided a food and drink, pharmaceutical, and feed for promoting increase of Akkermansia muciniphila, containing SGP as an active ingredient.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
