To solve the problem in which: a vertical axis aeration device generally has superior aeration performance and maintainability as compared with a horizontal axis/oblique axis aeration device, so there is a need to replace the horizontal axis/oblique axis aeration stirring device with the vertical axis aeration stirring device; however, when trying to attach the vertical axis aeration stirring device from the attachment port of the horizontal axis aeration stirring device, an impeller cannot be introduced into an oxidation ditch tank because the diameter of the impeller is larger than the size of the attachment port.SOLUTION: In order to solve the above problem, in a vertical aeration stirring device used for biological water treatment having an impeller and a shaft, the shaft is divided into a first shaft with the impeller and a second shaft connected to the first shaft.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
