PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water dispersion type resin composition that enhances adhesion between a resin and an additive and can form a polymer-based composite (a fiber-reinforced composite material or the like) excellent in mechanical properties (toughness in particular).;SOLUTION: The water dispersion type resin composition includes: an epoxy-amine adduct being a compound [I] having two or more amino groups in the molecule or a salt thereof in which the compound [I] is an adduct of (A) an alicyclic epoxy compound and (B) an amine compound; the epoxy resin (A) includes a compound represented by formula (a) as given below; and the amine compound (B) includes a compound represented by R¹(NH2)P [R¹ represents a p-valent organic group having a carbon atom at a binding site to a nitrogen atom; and p represents an integer of 2 or more.] and being a compound having amino groups at both terminals; a higher fatty acid ester; and a surfactant.
