To provide a veranda automatic recognition method based on an architecture drawing.SOLUTION: A veranda automatic recognition method comprises steps of: reading information of a layer where a column is positioned, information of a layer where a wall is positioned, information of a layer where a door and a window are positioned, and information of a layer where an external veranda is positioned; finding a hand rail line of the external veranda by a segment of each group indicating an external veranda line in a same group, to the external veranda, finding coordinate data of an end point forming the external veranda plate by each hand rail line and writing pieces of coordinate data to one point set in a corresponding state; classifying all internal verandas into different veranda groups, with respect to the internal verandas, finding coordinate data of an end point of each of N internal veranda plates forming a veranda group by an Envelope object of each veranda group, and writing the coordinate data to each of N point sets in a corresponding state; finally, outputting a closed segment which is sequentially connected in an order of finding of all end points of respective point sets, as an external veranda plate contour or internal veranda plate contour.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
