To provide an electronic information storage medium, IC chip, initialization setting method and initialization setting program that can prevent an abuse of a non-used interface of a plurality of interfaces or unintentional actions thereof.SOLUTION: In an IC chip 1, stored are: a first program for conducting an initialization setting to act a first to fourth interfaces 14a to 14d; and a second program for conducting an initialization setting to act one interface of the first to fourth interfaces 14a to 14d. The IC chip 1 is configured to: determine whether the IC chip is in a specific state upon booting the IC chip; select any one program of the first program and the second program on the basis of a result of the determination; and conduct an initialization setting to act at least one part of the interface according to the selected program.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
