To provide a polyester ultra fine fiber excellent in trachychromatic properties and a feeling when being made into a fabric.SOLUTION: Provided is a latent trachychromatic split polyester composite fiber in which a poor-soluble polyester resin composition is plurally split with a readily-soluble polyester resin. The poor-soluble polyester resin composition includes a poor-soluble polyester resin and generation particles. The generation particles are derived from a phosphorus compound and an alkaline-earth metal compound or are derived from a phosphorus compound, an alkali metal compound and an alkaline-earth metal compound, and the average particle diameter of the generation particles is 0.05 to 0.5 μm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
