To provide a structure for an exhaust pipe for a diesel engine capable of activating a temperature rise of an oxidation catalyst (DOC) provided in an exhaust gas post-processing device with a relatively simple configuration.SOLUTION: In an exhaust pipe 10 for a diesel engine 5 comprising an exhaust gas post-processing device 40 including a particulate removal filter (DPF) 42 and an oxidation catalyst (DOC) 41 disposed at a primary side of the particulate removal filter (DPF) 42, a portion (exhaust pipe) forming a primary side of the exhaust gas post-processing device 40 in the exhaust pipe 10 consists of a heater 30 for heating heated exhaust gas that is exhaust gas before being introduced into the exhaust gas post-processing device 40, with heat medium gas that is a part of exhaust gas after passing through the oxidation catalyst (DOC) 41 provided in the exhaust gas post-processing device 40, for example, a heat exchanger type heater including a channel 31 for the heated exhaust gas and a channel 32 for the heat medium gas.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
