To provide a method that can set a communication route between nodes of a computer cluster so that a communication link is used in a well-balanced way, and to provide a computer program and computer cluster that correspond to the method.SOLUTION: In a computer cluster 100, after a first global number is respectively assigned to nodes 106to 106, a second global number, which is different from the first global number, and has a number to be consecutively separated by a value different in respective periods of at least a part of a communication link 114 allocated, is assigned to the selected node. On the basis of the second global number and a topology of the computer cluster, a route between the first node and the second node is determined by implementing an algorithm.
