PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress noise including non-Gaussian noise and to enhance followability to variation in data.;SOLUTION: The data processing device includes a forward smoothing processing section 11, a backward smoothing processing section 12, and a smoothing method determination section 13. The forward smoothing processing section 11 calculates time-series data of forward smoothing by sequentially smoothing the obtained unprocessed time-series data and the time-series data from the past to the present. The backward smoothing processing section 12 calculates time-series data of the backward smoothing by sequentially smoothing the forward smoothing time-series data from the present toward the past.
