To provide a liquid crystal polyester resin composition for camera module having excellent adhesion property with resin of a circuit part after cold-heat processing, excellent weld property and circularity, and a camera module.SOLUTION: A camera module comprises: a substrate 10 which mounts an imaging element 11 thereon; a holder 13 which is arranged on the substrate 10 so as to cover the imaging element 11; a cylindrical barrel 14 which is screwed into an upper part of the holder 13; and a lens 15 attached inside the barrel 14, in which at least a part of the substrate 10, the holder 13, and the barrel 14 is constituted of a liquid crystal polyester resin composition containing liquid crystal polyester resin on which a circuit by metal is formed and an additive for forming a circuit, and the liquid crystal polyester resin composition contains alkaline metal and/or alkaline earth metal by 1 to 100 ppm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
