To provide a feature extraction device capable of extracting features of figures on an image.SOLUTION: A feature extraction device 1 comprises a contour extraction unit 41 for extracting a contour of a figure, a point selection unit 42 for selecting a large number of point groups consisting of two or more points on the contour, a parameter deriving unit 43 for deriving a value of at least one parameter representing a positional relationship between two or more points for each of the large number of point groups, and a feature extraction unit 44 for extracting a statistical distribution of many values of at least one parameter derived for each of the plurality of point groups, as a feature of the figure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
